TEMPLATE FOR WALL MOUNTING
1.
Copy this template and place it onto the wall.
2.
Install the screws.
If you mount the unit on a concrete or mortar wall, place
the anchor plugs flush to the wall with a hammer beforehand.
3.
Hook the unit onto the screw heads.
Installation Precautions
This system is designed for wall mounting only. Avoid installing in the following places.
(Doing so may result in malfunction, noise, or discoloration)
1. In direct sunlight and hot, cold, or humid places. (Temperature range 0ºC ~ 40ºC {32ºF ~ 104ºF})
2. Sulfuric gases produced in areas where there are thermal springs, etc. may damage the equipment or contacts.
3. Places in which shocks or vibrations are frequent or strong.
4. Dusty places, or places where water or oil may come into contact with the system.
5. Near high-frequency generating devices such as sewing machines or electric welders.
6. On or near computers, telexes, or other office equipment, as well as microwave ovens or air conditioners.
(It is preferable not to install the system in the same room with the above equipment.)
7. Install at least 1.8 m {6 feet} away from radios and televisions.
(Both the system and Panasonic proprietary telephones)
8. Do not obstruct area around the system
(for reasons of maintenance and inspection - be especially careful to allow space for cooling above
and at the sides of the system).

QUICK START GUIDE

Unpack the box and check the items below:
Main Unit
AC Cord
Screws (Wall Mounting)
Washers (Wall Mounting)
Quick Start Guide
CD-ROM Leaflet

Using Wall Mounting Template opposite fix to wall using screws and washers supplied.
3.
Loosen the screw (Fig 1) - Note : The screw can not be removed from the cover
4.
Press both arrows at the same time to open the cover (Fig 2).
5.
All JACKS are now visible - refer to (Fig 3) for detail.

Before installing or initial programming, the following INITIALIZATION procedure must be carried out:

(a) Plug the AC power cord into the system and AC outlet.
(b) Connect a KX-TA30830 telephone to JACK 01
(c) Turn the Power Switch on. (The power indicator will light.)
(d) Press the "PROGRAM" button on the telephone.

(e) Enter

(f) Enter the system password, 1234.
(g) Enter 999 (System Data Clear).
(h) Press NEXT (SP-PHONE button).
(i) Keep pressing SELECT (AUTO ANSWER/MUTE button) until "All Para" is displayed.
(j) Press STORE (AUTO DIAL/STORE button).
(k) Press END (HOLD button).
(l) Press the "PROGRAM" button on the telephone.
(m) Power OFF the system, and Power it back on.
Your system is now initialized and ready for programming.
Note:if the telephone connected to JACK 01 does not work properly, or entered system
password is not accepted, refer to the 2.9 System Data Clear section of the CD-ROM installation manual and initialize
the system .
7.
The outside CO lines can now be connected.
