Thermal Compensation
The charger has a thermal compensation function which adapts the charge to the temperature of the battery, which allows the battery to
be fully and safely recharged.
This function can be used in various functions:
Program seasonal thermal compensation (Standard, Cold and Hot). This mode is useful when an accurate thermal compensation

is not needed or when a thermal sensor is not available.
By using a thermal probe, the battery temperature in constantly read and the charge is consequently adapted. When the thermal

sensor is connected, the seasonal compensation is disabled.
Start/Stop
The charger has a Start/Stop control switch function. When enabled, the charger only works if the Start/Stop (S/S) signals are short-
circuited together. The S/S switch can be wired to the auxiliary contacts of the battery plug which allows to pre-emptively arrest the
charge when the battery is disconnected. This allows a disconnection of the battery, during charging, without generating electric arc
discharge. To enable this option please refer to your dealer.
CAN BUS connections
The battery charger is provided with a 1 and 2 CAN PORT connection to allow the charger to be connected to a local or remote
supervision system. This function is useful for a charging room station where many chargers are controlled by a central control unit.
The charger is also provided with the Diagnostic PORT which can be used, together with suitable computer programs, to control and
program internal units. For any information please refer to your dealer.
