Replacing the lens on the models such as VPL-V800Q/QM

Turn the screws on each side of the control panel clockwise
or counterclockwise by 90 degrees with a screwdriver.
This loosens the rear cover.

Unlock the rear cover by lifting it on its each side with the
illustrated positions of the top panel while pressing heavily
with the palm of your hand. The rear cover can be removed
by pulling it down forward.

Press the black knobs on each side of the control panel
and remove the top cover.

Loosen the two butterfly screws on the lens hood.

Remove the cable harness and disconnect the connector
of the lens.
