8. Deviation to the rule
8.1 Modification of given times
The specified times may be prolonged or
shortened individually, if required.

8.2 Plasticizing of blanks with unknown heating times
Create a heating programme corre-
sponding to the foil thickness in ques-
tion with a sufficient prolongation of
the heating time (see point 7.1). Start
the programme (see point 7.2). You
may test the plasticization degree of the
blank by means of an edgeless metal
instrument (e. g. wax knife).

After the blank has attained the neces-

ever, a sufficient cooling down time is to
be observed, as warm foils may deform
during removing them from the model
and therefore lead to bad resp. useless
thermoforming results.

9 Optional additional functions
9.1 Fabrication of cast form parts
With the K7 insert it is possible to ther-
moform up to 7 resin bases for the
crown and bridge technique at the same
time. Fix the single dies by means of a
flexible blocking out material (e. g. Fillin)
in the holes of the K7 insert.
