to restarting the system.
6.1.1 Servicing the flue system
This must be done at least once a year, or every 4 tons of pellets.
If the flue has any horizontal sections, remove any ash and soot before they can block the flue itself.
If it is not kept clean, the stove may experience problems including:
• poor combustion
• blackened glass
• blocked brazier, accumulated ash and pellets
• ash and excessive encrustations on the heat exchanger, which lower its efficiency.
6.1.2 Servicing the stove
This must be done at least once a year, or whenever the stove itself displays the maintenance required message.
The technician must:
• thoroughly clean the fumes circuit
• check the condition and tightness of all seals
• check the condition and cleanliness of all internal components
• check the tightness and cleanliness of the connection of the flue to the stove
• remove all pellet residue remaining in the pellet tank
• check that the stove is operating properly
• reset any warnings and alarms (the manual reset thermostats are at the back of the stove next to the power cable outlet).
• To verify the correct operation of the soft zippers handed as from Fig. 6.1
