Safety Warnings
for Tile Saws
Before Operating the Tile saw
• Set the Tile saw on a perfectly level a stable place.
• Take your time assessing the job double-checking al the
caution measures before starting drilling.
WARNING
• Adjust accurately in place both the
disc and guard. Remove the vices or wrenches before
starting the tool. Otherwise, the vice or wrench can fly
away with great speed and cause severe injuries.
DANGER
• Double-check the switch is in the OFF
position before connecting the tool. Otherwise it will
start unexpectedly and cause severe injuries.
•Verify the cutting disc and the safety nut are clean and
free of obstacles.
• Make sure there is enough free space around the tool
to work safely.
• Remove any object on the work table. Only the tile to be
cut should be on the table.
• Start the tool and let it run a couple of seconds before
cutting to verify the tool is not vibrating excessively or is
making strange noises. In this event, disconnect the tool
to solve the problem. If the problem cannot be fixed go to
a
Authorized Service Center.
• In order to prevent the plug or power receptacle getting
wet set the Tile saw aside the wall receptacle to prevent
water entering into the power receptacle or plug. The user
should adapt an" anti-dripping" cover (a) in the cable
connecting the Tile saw to the power receptacle. When
using an extension, the "anti-dripping" cover shall be set
below the power receptacle or below the connector to
prevent water running on the cable and making contact
with the power receptacle.
While Operating the Tile saw
• Wear protective eyeglasses and facemask
against spills if necessary.
• Handle the water pan with care to

prevent spillages. It could cause an electric shock
or short circuit.
WARNING
• Keep your hands away from the
moving cutting disc.
CAUTION
• Do not try to cut without the adequate
support of the cutting guide.
WARNING
• Double-check there is enough space
for the tile to move away from the cut so it cannot get
caught between the moving disc and the cutting guide.
Otherwise the tile can shoot out and cause injuries.
• Never cut more than one tile at a time.
WARNING
• Never cut tiny pieces that cannot be
supported firmly in the cutter guide not allowing a safe
distance between the hand and the cutting disc.
After Operating the Tile saw
• Allow the disc to stop completely before removing any
stuck material or residues from the area surrounding the
disc.
