Steam Mop Operation
1.
Align and attach the microfiber steam mop pad to the
microfiber steam mop pad holder.
2. To attach the Oreck VersaVac's microfiber steam mop pad
holder: insert the front of vacuum into the holder, align the
foot pedal to the center of the power head, lower the power
head onto the holder and LIGHTLY press down to snap into
place. NOTE: Never operate the steam mop without the
microfiber steam mop pad in place.
3.
Grasp the water tank release lever and pull forward and up
to remove the water tank.
4. Remove cap from the water tank bottom and fill with water.
Make sure the cap gasket is in place. Replace the cap and
reinstall the water tank. NOTE: Do not attempt to use steam
mop without water in tank.
5. Turn the function selector dial left to steam. The "STEAM
ON" light will illuminate.
6. Rotate the steam selector level adjustment dial so it matches
the steam level (Hardwood, Linoleum, and Tile/Stone) to the
type of floor you want to clean.
7.
When the "STEAM READY" light comes on, press and hold
the Steam Trigger (inside the handle) to begin steam cleaning.
For extended steaming, hold the Steam Trigger in and slide
the Unlock/Lock button forward. This will lock the trigger
for continued steaming without holding the trigger manually.
Be sure to release the trigger lock when finished steaming.
8. When the Oreck Steam Mop stops emitting steam turn the
power OFF and refill the water tank.
9.
Steam Settings:
• Tile/Stone = Medium to High
• Linoleum = Low to Medium
• Sealed Hardwoods = Low
NOTE: When the microfiber steam mop pad becomes very wet
or dirty, replace with a clean cloth.
