1. Introduction
The Heating Slim Receiver RTS 2kW is a receiver tted with Somfy Radio Technology (RTS). It is used
to control electric heating ramps (operating via heating lamps with a maximum of 2,000 W) from an RTS
control point. Its small size enables it to be discretely installed near to the product it is controlling.
There are two Heating Slim Receiver RTS 2kW models with different systems for connecting to the heating
ramp:
• the Heating Slim Receiver RTS 2kW with standard connections connects to the heating ramp using split
ttings.
• the Heating Slim Receiver RTS 2kW Plug connects directly to the heating ramp using quick connections
(Plug: STAS3 / STAK3); quick connections ensure the receiver is sealed, making installation easy and
safe (no wiring).
The Heating Slim Receiver RTS 2kW can be used:
- as an individual control - one Heating Slim Receiver RTS 2kW is controlled by one control point.
- as a multiple control - one Heating Slim Receiver RTS 2kW is controlled by several control points
(maximum of 12 control points).
- as a group control - several Heating Slim Receiver RTS 2kW units are controlled from a single control
point.

Before installing and using this product, please read this guide carefully.
This Somfy product must be installed by a professional motorisation and home automation installer, for
whom this guide is intended.
The installer must also comply with the current standards and legislation in the country in which the product
is being installed, and inform his customers of the usage and maintenance conditions relevant to the
product.
Any use outside the sphere of application speci ed by Somfy is forbidden. This invalidates the warranty and
discharges Somfy of all liability, as does any failure to comply with the instructions given herein.
Never begin installing without rst checking the compatibility of this product with the associated equipment
and accessories.
