INSTALLING THE VALVE ASSEMBLY

Required Tool: Valve insertion tool
To install the valve assembly, insert
the two snap rings into the valve
insertion tool, with their rounded
edges facing down, and the slotted
tabs on the snap rings 180 degrees
apart.
Insert the valve into the valve
insertion tool. Align the pilot flow port
on the valve with the large rounded
notch of the valve tool.
Insert the valve tool into the rotor
case, aligning the two ribs on the
inside of the case with the notches
on the side of the tool. Push the
handle down until the head of the
tool reaches the bottom of the case.
Then push down firmly on the tool to
seat the valve and the snap rings.
Remove the valve tool, and check to
make sure that both snap rings are
securely in place.
Reinstall the internal assembly and
upper snap ring. Turn on the water
and test the valve by operating the
sprinkler manually, as shown on
page 7.

VALVULA
Para instalar el ensamblaje de la
valvula, meta los dos anillos
retenedores adentro de la taza de la
herramienta de instalación de la
valvula, con las orillas redondas
apuntando hacia abajo y con las
orejas de los anillos colocadas a 180
grados una de otra.
Meta la valvula adentro de la
herramienta de instalación de la
valvula. Alineando el pibote piloto
de la valvula con la ranura redonda
de la herramienta de instalación de
la valvula.
Meta la herramienta de instalación
adentro del casco del rotor,
alineando las dos costillas de
adentro del casco con las ranuras de
los lados de la herramienta. Empuje
la palanca firmemente hacia abajo
hasta que la cabeza de la
herramienta llegue hasta la parte
inferior del casco. Luego presioné
firmemente la herramienta para
sentar la valvula y los anillos. Saque
la herramienta y revise para
asegurarse que ambos anillos están
sentados correctamente en su lugar.
Reinstale el conjunto interno y anillo
retenedor superior. Prenda la
corriente de agua y revise la valvula,
haciendo funcionar el rotor
manualmente, como se muestra en
la página 7.
