5. Overview
Refer to the illustration on page 2 of this manual.
6. Operation
•
Charge the internal battery of the charger prior to use. This can
be done in 3 ways:
place the charger with the solar panel facing the sun. The
o
status LED [2] turns GREEN (the more sunlight, the brighter
the LED).
plug the included USB cable in a powered USB slot of a PC
o
and plug the other end into the charger input [3]. The status
LED [2] turns green. When fully charged, the green status
LED [2] turns off.
plug the included USB cable in the included AC adaptor and
o
plug the other end into the charger input [3]. Plug the AC
adaptor into the mains. The status LED [2] turns green.
When fully charged, the green status LED [2] turns off.
Note: when using the charger input [3], do not overcharge! Unplug
the input connector as soon as the green LED turns off.

Connect the included male-female cable to the charger output
[1] and connect a mobile phone or other digital device to the
other end. Use the appropriate adaptor plug (5 types included).
•
The connected electronic device can be used during charging.
•
The charger has a short circuit protection. When a short circuit is
detected, the charger switches off. Remove the short-circuited
load and wait for ±10s for the charger to resume operation.
7. Batteries
•
This charger contains an internal rechargeable battery. When the
device is end-of-life, this battery has to be removed.
•
Break open the housing. Make sure to use sufficient protection to
avoid injury.
