Remove the nut on the blade spindle using
a spanner, and lift the saw blade out. Wear
gloves.
Clean the spindle and flanges, fit a new blade
and screw the nut firmly in place. Check that
the direction specified on the blade matches
the direction of rotation of the motor.
Switch the saw on and check that the blade is
rotating correctly before you begin sawing.
Overload fuse
This saw is equipped with overload
protection, which will switch the saw off if it
is overloaded. Switch the saw off, and allow it
to cool down for approximately 10 minutes.
After this it can be used again.
Cleaning and maintenance
Remove any sawdust and dirt using a brush
or compressed air. Check that the motor
ventilation slots are not blocked.
Clean the outer parts of the saw with a damp
cloth.
Lubricate all moving metal parts with a light
lubrication oil.
Check regularly that all bolts and nuts are
tightened properly.
