➤ Connect the red cable (fig. 9 rt, page 7) to the positive terminal of the battery
(fig. 9 1, page 7).
➤ Connect the black cable (fig. 9 sw, page 7) to the negative terminal of the
battery (fig. 9 2, page 7).
Notes on the battery monitor
The device is equipped with a battery monitor that protects your vehicle battery
against excessive discharging when the device is connected to the on-board supply.
If the refrigerated container is operated when the vehicle ignition is switched off, it
switches off automatically as soon as the supply voltage falls below a settable level.
The refrigerated container will switch back on once the battery has been recharged
to the cut-in voltage level.

NOTICE! Risk of damage!
When switched off by the battery monitor, the battery will no longer be
fully charged. Avoid starting repeatedly or operating electric consumers
without longer charging phases. Make sure that the battery is
recharged.

Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.

NOTE
• The key can be removed in any position. The container continues to
refrigerate.
• Before starting your refrigerated container for the first time, you
should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic
reasons (see also chapter "Cleaning and maintenance" on page 17).

At a temperature setting of –18 °C: Only put goods in the
refrigerated container which are already frozen at –20 °C.
The refrigerated container is not suitable for freezing.
