Please read and understand the operating logbook before start-up!
Following installation of the Klaro setting-up kit, the entire system and the setting-up kit sampler must be
filled with fresh water. The system must not be started up until this has been done.
The cabinet's two-pin earthed plug is to be connected to the power socket. For EPP cabinets, the control
unit will then start up. For metal and exterior cabinets, the main switch must first be set to "I". The control
unit displays the program's serial number and version number for a few seconds, and then switches to
automatic mode. The warning message "Set date and time!" then appears. This can be removed by
pressing the Esc key twice. If a second warning message "Temp. Max" is displayed, please check
whether the temperature sensor on the rear side of the device is plugged in correctly. The system's
current operating mode is then displayed. In order to correctly store the operating hours and event
reports, the date and time must next be set via the relevant menu item. The system then operates in cycle
pause until it reaches the first cycle start time.
The factory-set cycle start times are:
1:30 am, 7:30 am, 1:30 pm, 7:30 pm
The correct function of the ventilation system and the lifter should be checked in manual mode. This
process is described in detail in the system's operating logbook. The aeration bubbles must be consistent
and thorough. The air lift pump function is only enabled if the tank is sufficiently filled with water. For
systems with a convenience control unit (KLplus), calibration with underload detection is required for
operation. The relevant instructions can be found in the operating logbook.
