Activity Centre - Function
Baby Steps Activity Walker is also an activity centre with lights, sounds and many games, which, by amusing and
entertaining the child, stimulates co-ordination, visual, audio and logical association skills.
Activity Centre – Features:
• Slot for small balls (diagram E-11): Where baby can insert the 3 small balls to make them slide down the appropri-
ate channel and fall in the basket underneath. The balls' movement activates an amusing sound and light effect.
• Slots for small shapes (diagram E-12): Where baby can insert the corresponding small shapes to make them
slide down the appropriate channel and fall in the basket underneath.
• Left side activity (diagram E-13): If moved forward or backward, it activates an amusing sound effect.
• Right side activity (diagram E-14): If moved, it activates a merry melody and light display.
• Sliding elements (diagram E-15): When moved, they activate a lovely and stimulating sound.
• Turning knob (diagram E-16): When turned it activates a lovely and stimulating sound.
FITTING AND/OR REPLACING BATTERIES
• Batteries must only be fitted by an adult.
• The battery compartment is located on the base, at the rear of the panel.
• To replace spent batteries: Loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover with a screwdriver and open
the cover. Then remove the spent batteries and fit new ones, ensuring that they have been fitted in the correct
polarity (as shown on the product), close the battery cover, and tighten the screw.
• Always keep batteries and tools out of reach of children.
• Always remove spent batteries from the toy to avoid the danger of possible leakage from the battery damag-
ing the product.
• Always remove the batteries if the toy will not be used for a long period of time.
• Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recommended for the correct function
of this product.
• Never mix new and old batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Do not burn or dispose of spent batteries into the environment. Dispose of spent batteries at an appropriate
differentiated collection point.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries: they might explode.
• The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended, since they could impair the toy's functionality.
• If rechargeable batteries are used, take them out of the toy before recharging them. Batteries must always be
recharged under adult supervision.

be treated separately from domestic waste, and disposed of at an appropriate differentiated collection point for

tion points. The appropriate differentiated collection and subsequent recycling or treatment of the equipment
