• Position this protective cover so that the cutting disc runs freely in the open part and so that
the protective cap is unable to make contact with the work piece.
• Cutting work generates sparks. Ensure that no flammable materials are in the working area. Sparks
can damage paint, glass and other surfaces. Do not wear any nylon or polyester clothing,
but suitable non-flammable work clothes.
• Ensure that the mains cable does not protrude into the working area of the disc or where sparks
are flying. Always insert the mains cable of the angle grinder in the cable holder (12).
• Ensure that the work piece is correctly fixed in position between the two clamping jaws and is firmly
positioned on the base plate.
• Do not use work pieces which are too large to be fixed in position between the two clamping jaws.
• Store the cutting stand in a dust-free and dry place.
• Regularly inspect the firm seating of all of the screws before and during use. Regularly inspect the stand
for signs of damage. Screws can become loose during use due to vibration. Do not use the cutting
stand if you detect any damage.
• Ensure that the cutting disc of your angle grinder is mounted perpendicular to the base plate.
• Only use cutting discs and no roughing discs.
• Also regularly inspect the cutting disc of your angle grinder for signs of damage.
Under no circumstances should you use a disc if you should determine any dents,
notches or other forms of damage.
• Always remove the plug of your angle grinder from the socket before carrying out any cleaning
or adjustment work on your cutting stand.
• Never place you hand in the working area of the cutting disc.
• Always observe the cutting depths as there is otherwise the risk of damaging your workbench.
• Always remove the plug when not using the stand.
Refer to illustration (A) and the detailed photos (B - I) when assembling the stand.
You require the following for the assembly work: open-jawed spanners (SW 8, SW 10, SW 14, SW 17),
Allen screws (5 mm, 6 mm) and a slotted screwdriver (5 mm).
• Mount the swivel arm (2) to the base plate (1) using the Allen screws (3) and the washers (4).
• Now mount the handle (6) onto the swivel arm (2) with the matching counter nut.
• Now mount both of the retainers (9) onto the swivel arm (2) with the spacers (10)
and the Allen screws (11). These two connections are only loosely mounted.
• Insert the two adjustment screws (5 and 7) in the swivel arm (2) recess, together with the adjustment
nuts.
• Now mount the protective cover (8). To do so, insert the cover hoop in the corresponding opening
in the swivel arm (2). Now fasten the hoop in place with the screw (13) and the nut (14).
• Now mount the angle grinder with the cutting disc between both of the retainers (9). To do so,
use the matching mounting material (16) in the sizes M10, M8 or M6 as shown.
• Align the angle grinder between both of the retainers (9) and fix the angle grinder in place with
the screws, locking nuts and the spacer (15). Mounting material of the sizes M8 and M6 require
the insertion of additional plastic sleeves into the retainers (9).
• Adjust the two adjustment screws (5 and 7) so that the angle grinder is positioned perpendicular to the
base plate (1). Now screw the two washers and the nuts onto the adjustment screws and tighten them.
Now tighten the two Allen screws (11).
• After loosening the Allen screws (3) slightly, adjust the swivel arm (2) so that the cutting disc immerses
into the cutting gap in the base plate (1), now retighten both of the screws.
