To begin cooking, press the centre circle (14), on the main menu icon (13) or wait 5 seconds for
it to start automatically. Once cooking has begun, a red circle is displayed below the selected
temperature that indicates the increase in temperature. When the pan or dish reaches the
desired temperature, an alarm will sound and the "Ready to cook" message will be displayed.
Put the food into the pan or dish and press "play" to start cooking.
COOKING BY TEMPERATURE IN PRECISE MODE:
First, connect the external sensor. Then, place the sensor inside the pan or dish, submerging the
black part as much as possible without exceeding the "MAX" line. To cook in "Precise" mode,
choose a cooking zone, press the "temperature" button (10), then press the "Precise" button
(15). The cooking range is between 40 ºC to 180 ºC, with 1 ºC intervals.

Only one external sensor at a time can be connected to the hob. Using the external sensor in
sauces is not recommended as it may cause temperature measurement errors.

The cooking tables developed by "El Celler de Can Roca" give quick access to programmed
cooking. They are defined according to the most appropriate time and temperature. Take the
following aspects into account:
1. The indicated temperatures are reference values when cooking with liquids.
2. The starting temperature of the food to be cooked is 5 °C (refrigerator temperature).
Although the tables can be used without the external temperature sensor ("Fast" mode), we
recommend using them to ensure optimal cooking control ("Precise" mode). To access the
tables, select a cooking zone and press the recipe icon (11) found on the middle left-hand part
of the screen. Then, select the "Cooking tables" menu and choose the food section. Finally,
press the "Play" icon for the desired food and cooking will start automatically.
