1. Dispense the desired shade of Neo Spectra™ ST flow material from the syringe directly onto the
restoration. Protect cement from exposure to light.
2. Seat the loaded restoration in place. Remove excess from the margins with a blunt instrument.
Briefly (10 seconds or less) light cure the gingival portion only to tack restoration in place. Re-
move any remaining excess from margins. Technique Tip: Placement of mylar strips between
preparation and adjacent teeth prior to seating veneers aids in isolation and in excess cement
clean up. After removing gingival excess and tacking veneer in place, remove interproximal ex-
cess cement by pulling mylar strip towards the facial, i.e., from tooth to restoration surface.
3.2.4 Curing
Insufficient curing.
Inadequate polymerization.
1. Check compatibility of curing light.
2. Check curing cycle.
3. Check minimum irradiance.
4. Cure each area of each increment for the recommended curing time.
5. Check distance to surface to be cured.
1. Light cure with a suitable visible light curing unit designed to cure materials containing cam-
phorquinone (CQ) initiator, i.e. peak spectral output 440-480 nm. Cure each area of the res-
toration surface (buccal, lingual, and interproximal) for at least 20 seconds at an irradiance of
minimum 800 mW/cm². To ensure proper irradiance follow curing light instructions (e.g., increase
exposure time to compensate lower irradiance due to increased distance between light guide/tip
and restorative surface or curing lights with lower radiant emittance).
2. Following the light cure check and adjust occlusion as necessary. Proceed to finishing and polish-
ing as outlined in section 3.1.7 above.

Hygiene

Cross-contamination.
Infection.
Do not reuse single use products. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Syringes cannot be reprocessed. Dispose of contaminated syringes in accord-
ance with local regulations.
Reprocess reusable products according to the instructions.
4.1 Syringes – cross-contamination
Cross-contamination.
Infection.
The syringes cannot be reprocessed.
To prevent the syringes from exposure to spatter or spray of body fluids or con-
taminated hands it is mandatory that the syringes are handled with clean/disin-
fected gloves. Do not reuse syringes if contaminated.
Dispose of contaminated syringes in accordance with local regulations.
