BEFORE FIRST USE
n Remove all packaging and other accessories inside as well as outside the appliance .
n Operate the coffee maker for the first time without coffee, and with a full tank of water to rinse the circuit .
n The glass jug, is dishwasher safe but should not be used in a microwave .
PREPARATION OF THE COFFEE
When you plug in the coffee maker, a bleep will sound .
n Lift the lid of the coffee maker . Fig. 1 .
n Remove the lid from the glass jug and put the required quantity of cold water into the tank . Fig. 2 and 3 .
n The measurements on the jug and the tank are the same . Fig. 4 .
n Close the lid again then turn the filter holder . Fig. 5 .
n Fit the filter paper (after folding down the edges and push it down gently with your hand) . Fig. 6 .
n Put the coffee in (it can be measured using the spoon provided) . For medium-strength coffee, one
measure per cup is sufficient . Fig. 7 .
n Put the filter holder back in place, click it into place and put back the jug with its lid . Fig. 8 and 9 .
n Switch the coffee maker on by pressing the On/Off button . A bleep will sound, the cycle begins . Fig. 10 .
n After use, throw away the coffee grounds and rinse the filter holder under running water . Fig. 13 and 14 .
n An anti-drip system allows you to remove the jug during the process . Replace it quickly to prevent
overflowing . Fig. 12.
n Do not exceed the maximum quantity of water .
Your coffee maker is equipped with an automatic stop system:
n The appliance will stop automatically after approximately 40 minutes .
n The appliance can be switched off at any time by pressing the On/Off button . A bleep will sound .
FLAVOUR SELECTOR
For optimum flavour, use the flavour selector to vary the strength of your coffee .
The flavour selector increases the cycle time to make the coffee more intense .
n Follow steps 1 to 9 .
n Press the On/Off button . A bleep sounds, the button lights up to indicate that the preparation cycle is
starting . Fig 10 .
n Press the Aroma button to select a more intense coffee . Another bleep sounds, the AROMA button lights .
