SAFETY STANDARDS

This operating manual:
- is valid for compressors-suction pumps with side channel generally identified by the term "blowers", TMD Atex version of series K-MS
GOR, category II 2G, suitable for conveying biogas and flammable gases;
- contains instructions for transport, installation, putting into service, operation, storage and maintenance of the compressors / suction
pumps with side channel,
- must be read carefully and understood well before doing anything with the unit;
- must be followed meticulously;
- must be kept constantly within reach in the location where the unit is used.
Failure to observe the safety rules may cause serious injury to persons - and possibly death - in addition to damage to property and the
environment.
The Atex version of the TMD blower with side channel consists of the parts shown below:

GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS

The 'SCL K' compressors-suction pumps are group II units for use in classified zones and were designed and built in compliance with
the Directive ATEX 94/9/EC, according to European standards EN 1127-1, EN 13463-1 and EN 13463-5.
The 'SCL R-MD' compressor-suction pumps have been designed and built for industrial applications and to be installed and used by
qualified personnel in classified environments against the risk of explosion due to the presence of gas and/or dust and generally as units
which are to be incorporated into a machine or plant.
Installation, connection, start up and maintenance must be done exclusively by qualified personnel who must bear the following points in
mind:
- the classification of the zone and/or plant in which the machine is to be installed
