Description
The Amplifier Art. 692M and Art. 692M/5 is used in Two-Wire video door entry systems,
when the modulated video signal needs to be amplified.
Adjustment
Art. 692M and Art. 692M/5 offer two output amplification levels, depending on the GAIN
dip-switch setting:

(minus) gain is +6 dB

Position
(plus) gain is +14 dB
When selecting the gain level, please refer to the "Video signal attenuation/gain table".
The table can be used to calculate the value of the video signal arriving from the monitor,
which should be no lower than -20 dBm.

Installation example:
One entrance panel, 400 m cable, five distributors 692D and one monitor connected to an extension output of the final 692D.
+16 dBm (entrance panel) -20 dB (cable) -20 dB (distributor) -2 dB (thru-connection distributors) = -26 dBm (to the monitor)
In this case it is necessary to add an amplifier Art. 692M set to 14 dB (dip-switch position + to obtain a signal of approx. -12 dBm
for the monitor).
