The fact that the towing bracket has been mounted to the vehicle must be entered in the
vehicle papers at the next possible opportunity. The mounting instructions must be added to
the vehicle papers.
General Installation Intructions:
If present, remove insulating compound and/or underseal in the area of the towing bracket
contact surfaces. Coat bare bodywork with anti-corrosion paint.
Mount 7-pin electrical system as per DINV 72570.
Mount 13-pin electrical system as per ISO 11446.
Retighten all mounting bolts of the towing bracket after aprox. 1000 towing km. Please note,
that after mounting the drawbar the mass of your vehicle will change.
Mounting instructions:
Undo the trunk upholstery then remove the rear lights.

Remove the bumper and its inset (it will not be reinstalled later, but the 3-3 bolts shall be
–
installed to the rear wall).
Lower the exhauster then drill down the heat insulating plate from the chassis bema (2 pcs
–
of rivets).
Cut out the double rear wall on both sides at the ends of the chassis beams with the
–
templet.
Enlarge the factory holes from above at positions „a" with a ∅18mm drill.

Drill through the factory markings in the trunk (positions „b") with a ∅18mm drill.

Slide the drag hook body (1) into the chassis beam.
–
According to the drawing loosely fix the drag hook body at positions „a" and „b" with the
–
attached bonding units.
Set the drag hook into mid-position then tighten all the screws.
–
Cut out the bumper according to the attached templet.
–
Connect the electric wire cracking the rear bundle according to the regulations.
–
Rivet the heat insulating plate on the chassis beam with the attached rivets.
–
Hang up the exhauster.
–
Reinstall the bumper and the rear lights then replace the trunk upholstery.
–
Installation of the drag hook can be completed only by specialized shop.
