From the home
screen, press
the down

volume key to
switch to lower
call alert
volume, then vibrate, and finally silent alert.
Press the up volume key to cycle back from
silent alert to vibrate and then to the lowest
alert volume setting.

Press the up or down volume key, then press
the smart/speakerphone key to scroll through
the alert styles: Loud, Soft, Vibrate, Vibrate then Ring,
and Silent. The alert styles are shown on the
phone's external display.
Keys
After scrolling to the desired alert style, press
the up or down volume key to save the setting
and return to the home screen.

store a phone number

You can store a phone number in Contacts:
1 Enter a phone number in the home
screen.
2 Press the Store key.
3 Enter a name and other details for the
phone number. To select a highlighted
item, press r.
4 Press the Done key to store the number.
To edit or delete a Contacts entry, see page 50.
To store an email address, press
r > n Contacts > [New Entry] > Email Address.
Enter the new contact's name and email
address information.
