General Information
The Relay Interface Module is a device that monitors a
normal power circuit. Upon sensing loss of power to it's
monitored circuit, it is designed to force all relays in the
connected relay panel to an ALL ON or ALL OFF state
regardless of the control panel status. This allows the
closure of relays during loss of normal power to allow
emergency power systems to feed lighting loads. Once
the relay senses the power returning, the panel will return
to normal operation.
The Relay Interface Module is available in 347 VAC.

N
otee:
The transformer in the connected relay panel must
be powered from an emergency power source
in order for the relay interface module to operate
properly.
The LED on the override card will show an overridden
state when the Relay Interface Module triggers a closure
through the external connection to this card.
Mounting Information
The Relay Interface Module is shipped in its own
enclosure. It is recommended that the RIM enclosure
be mounted below the lighting panel enclosure and
connected with conduit for the low voltage wire
connection into the panel's override card.
