Switching the handset on and off
You can switch off the handset if it is not in the base sta-
tion.
To switch off the handset, keep the call key (see fig.)
pressed down for a few seconds.
The following query appears: "Switch off handset?"
Confirm by pressing the key beneath the "Yes" dis-
play entry.
The display light goes off and the handset switches off.
To switch the handset back on, press the call key down for a few sec-
onds. After a short moment, the standard display reappears on the
screen.
You can also switch the handset back on by placing it back in the base sta-
tion.
Answering the telephone
When there is an incoming call, you will hear a ring. On the display
you will see a receiver symbol and the phone number of the caller or
the identification number of another connected handset.
NOTE
The phone number display may vary depending on the network
provider and the type of telephone extension, or be unavailable.
If you use the Bluetooth function, the following symbols appear:
Appears if an incoming or outgoing call is made via the landline.
