Semiautomatic step-by-step - JP1 open, JP2 closed.
In this logic, only the Local Open command is activated through which
both opening and closing motions are controlled. When the opening
manoeuvre is completed (operating time elapsed), the automation stops
and waits for a new command. During motion, a new command will stop
the automation (partial opening and/or closing).
Automatic - JP1 and JP2 closed.
In this logic, only the Local Open command is activated through which
the opening motion is controlled. When the opening manoeuvre is
completed (say at the end of the working time), the automation stops,
pauses for the pre-set time and then closes. During the closing cycle, a
new command will reverse the motion of the automation.
8. ANTI-CRUSH (FIG. 1)
During the closing phase, if an obstacle is detected, the anti-crush function immediately stops and then reverses
the motion of the automation.
For enabling the anti-crush function position the jumper JP8 closed on the right.

!
Warning
Ifa a slave actuator is connected to the Varia RF, close the jumper JP7 too.
Anti-crush adjusting
To adjust the anti-crush device:
1. Rotate the TRIMMER
all the way clockwise.
2. During the closing phase, slowly rotate the trimmer counterclockwise, until the windows stops and reveres
the motion to the opening.
3. As this trimmer position is found, rotate the trimmer clockwise few degrees.

9. RF COMMANDS PROGRAMMING (FIG. 1)
This programming can be done only after having turned the appliance off and on or at the end of a closing
cycle (end of the operating time).
To change the keys-RF commands confi guration, proceed as follows:
1. Press SW1 (RF commands programming key). The appliance beeps twice slowly signalling the beginning
of the programming phase.
2. Using an already programmed remote control, press in sequence the keys corresponding to the Local Open,
Local Close, Centralized Open, Centralized Close, and Stop commands; after every learning a number of beeps
equal to the number of already programmed commands will be emitted.
All assignments are facultative. To skip a key position, press SW2 (times programming key) instead of
the remote control key.
3. At the end of the learning phase, the procedure ends automatically (two slow beeps will be emitted) and
you can return to normal mode.
Information
If you make a mistake (for instance more commands assigned to the same key), a number of short
beeps will be emitted at the end of the programming phase. In this case, it is possible to re-program the
keys starting from the one to which the "Local Open" command has been assigned.
If, after entering the learning phase, no key is pressed within 15 seconds, the procedure ends
automatically (time-out); any previous learning will remain valid.
If you make a mistake, quit the procedure by pressing SW1 (RF commands programming key - see
fi g.2.2): even in this case any previous learning will remain valid.
If you want to change the parameters after the installation of the module and the latter is not easily
accessible, the procedure can be done via radio using an already programmed remote control.
a -
Press keys 1-4-5-8 simultaneously (TR14) or all keys (TR2 or TR4) until hearing a short
beep, then release the keys.
b -
Within 5 seconds, repeat the operation while holding the keys pressed until hearing two
short beeps followed by two long beeps signalling the beginning of the learning phase.
Now proceed as described above and remember that you have to press again keys 1-4-5-8 (TR14) or
all keys (TR2 or TR4) to skip a key position.
