 Never operate the food slicer without the blade (2). Never
attempt to slice packaged or frozen foods, ice cubes, foods
with bones or large stones or nuts in their shells. This could
damage the food slicer.
 After use, or when the food slicer is unattended, always
remove the mains plug from the mains socket!

Operating environment

Position the food slicer on a stable, flat surface and do not
place any objects on the food slicer. The food slicer is not for
use in rooms with a high temperature or humidity (e.g.
bathrooms), and must be kept free of excessive dust. Operating
temperature and operating humidity: 5 °C to 35 °C, max. 85%
rel. humidity.
WARNING! Make sure that:
 no direct heat sources (e.g. heating) affect the food slicer;
 the food slicer is not exposed to direct sunlight or bright
artificial light;
 contact with spray and dripping water and abrasive liquids is
avoided and the food slicer is never operated near water,
and it must especially never be immersed. Do not place any
recipients containing liquids, e.g. drinks or vases, onto or next
to the food slicer;
 there are no open fire sources (e.g. burning candles) on or
near the food slicer;
 no foreign bodies enter the device;
