• During use, the upper and lower surfaces
of the appliance become extremely hot, so
great care must be taken to avoid burns
caused by accidental contact.
• Do not move the appliance while it is still
hot.
• The use of protective gloves is recommen-
ded when working alongside high tempe-
rature zones.
• Grease and hot oil will easily ignite on a
hot hotplate! Foods with grease and oil
must only be prepared under careful su-
pervision.
• In the event of a fire, do not pour water
directly onto the appliance, but use the
specific safety devices available (extingui-
shers).
• The required cooking temperatures may
inevitably cause the covers, coatings etc.
to overheat. This is not a construction fault
but stainless steel is a thermal conductor
and for this reason care must be taken to
avoid burns.
• The appliance must not be used if the
glass of the upper section is cracked.
• If the surface is cracked, disconnect the
appliance from the power supply immedia-
tely and contact the technical assistance
center.
• Do not strike the glass with scrapers, pun-
ches, forks, ladles or other rigid items, as
they may cause irreparable damage.
• The appliance must not be used without
the grill and tray.
• The grill and tray must not be used as pre-
paration surfaces for cleaning vegetables,
tenderizing meat or other activities not
strictly linked to direct cooking without the
use of utensils.

• Read this manual carefully. It provides important information
for safe installation, use and maintenance of the appliance.
• Appliance maintenance must be carried out by qualified tech-
nicians authorized by the manufacturer, in compliance with
current safety standards and the instructions in this manual.
• Identify the specific appliance model. The model number is
detailed on the packaging and on the appliance data plate.
• The appliance must be installed in a well-ventilated room.
• Do not obstruct any air vents or drains present on the ap-
pliance.
• Do not tamper with appliance components.

REMINDERS FOR CLEANING

• Clean the satin finish stainless steel exterior surfaces, the
cooking wells and the surface of the hotplates every day.
• At least twice a year, have an authorized technician clean the
internal parts of the appliance.
• Do not use direct or high pressure water jets to clean the
appliance.
• Do not use corrosive products to clean the floor or shelf be-
neath the appliance.
• Do not wash the body or flame spreader of the hob burners
in the dishwasher.

2.1 SAFETY AND CONTROL DEVICES

• The appliance is equipped with a thermal limiter which con-
trols the power output, preventing it from exceeding the maxi-
mum permitted temperature.

3 DISPOSAL OF PACKAGING AND THE APPLIANCE

3.1 PACKAGING
The packaging is made using environmentally friendly mate-
rials. The plastic recyclable components are:
• the transparent cover, the bags containing the instructions
manual ( made of Polyethylene - PE).
• the straps (in Polypropylene - PP).
3.2 APPLIANCE
The appliance is manufactured 90% from recyclable metals
(stainless steel, aluminum sheet, copper.... ).
The appliance must be scrapped in compliance with current
regulations governing such disposal.
• It must be disposed of properly.
• Make the appliance unusable before scrapping.

• The appliance must be used in non-saline environments with
max. humidity 75%, with a temperature of between +5°C
