CTCSS OR DCS CODE SCAN (*)
In case you set up CTCSS or DCS code 00, you can listen to mes-
sages from broadcasters who also use this code, but you cannot talk
back. The CTCSS or DCS scan allows you to scan all codes on a
channel and as soon as your radiophone receives a signal, you can
talk back while your radiophone stays on that code.
6x ou 7x
attention: broadcasters using CTCSS code 00 or DCS code 00 will be
skipped using by scan method

press the M button 6x for the CTCSS scan
or
press the M button 7x for the DCS scan
'SCAN' will start flashing together with
'CTCSS' or 'DCS'
press the or
= scan with ascending code number,
= scan with descending code number)
as soon as a signal is being received on a
channel, the scan will stop to reproduce that
signal; a second after the signal stops, the
scan will be continued
press the PTT button to talk back on the
same channel and with the same code as
the previously received broadcaster; this
automatically ends the scan
