4.1 Configure your IP address

The C300APRA2 is equipped with a built-in DHCP server. The DHCP server will automatically assign an IP
address to each connected computer if the connected computer is set to "Obtain an IP address
automatically".
By default most computers are configured to automatically obtain an IP address. When this is not the
case, you will need to configure your computer to obtain an IP address automatically by following the
instructions below. These instructions are based on Windows Vista with Service Pack 1. If your computer
has a different version or operaring system, the steps required might be different.
A. Click "Start"
B. Enter the command "NCPA.CPL" and
press "OK".
The "Network Connections" window will appear.
C. Right click your "Local Area Connection"
(wired or wireless, depending on the connection
you use) and select "Properties".
