Snap one end of quick connect hose (1)

onto the quick connect nipple (2). Pull
up moderately to ensure connection has
been made. IMPORTANT: Slip the
hang tag (3) over the quick connect
hose (1) prior to final assembly.
Snap the other end of hose onto the
long quick connect spout nipple (4). Pull
down moderately to ensure connection
has been made.

Insert AA batteries into holder (1).
Install battery holder into slot (2)
located at the back of the filter head.
Make sure battery holder is pushed in
all the way for full engagement. When
battery holder is connected, the
indicator light (3) will flash red-green
for 10 seconds.
