N.B.: Any ninth device stored overwrites the first one stored, and so on.
• The volume is controlled directly from the consumer source connected to the LINE IN input or the
smartphone or tablet.
• Pairing: the internal radio module searches for a mobile device to store (switch on the Bluetooth
technology on the remote device and select "Vimar Audio").
• Inquiry: "Vimar audio" searches for Bluetooth technology devices in the list of stored devices.
• Signals: device status acoustic signal (power ON and pairing OK) on the outputs.
• Priority Bluetooth technology audio on the LINE IN audio.

CONFIGURATION.
Pairing and connection with a Bluetooth technology device.
"Vimar Audio" can be associated to a maximum of 8 Bluetooth technology devices.
To associate one or moreBluetooth technology devices, run the following Pairing procedure for each
device:
1. Place the Bluetooth technology device no more than 1 m from "Vimar Audio".
2. Switch on the Bluetooth technology function on the device to be paired.
3. Switch "Vimar Audio" on using the ON/OFF button.
4. Wait for the Pairing phase (normal blue blinking led).
5. Select "Vimar Audio" on the device to be paired among those found or available.
Note: No passkey is required to pair the Bluetooth technology device. The passkey may also
be called the "passcode", "PIN code", "PIN number" or "password".
6. If the Bluetooth technology connection is correctly established, the blue led will blink fast 10 times
and the speakers will give off a confirmation beep.
7. If the Bluetooth technology connection is not established, repeat the operations from point 3.
90 s are available for the Pairing phase.
After Pairing the Bluetooth technology devices, this operation is no longer required, except in the
following cases:
- The Pairing information was removed after repairs or similar operations.
- "Vimar Audio" is already associated to 8 devices (maximum number allowed) and is Pairing to another
device. If after having associated 8 devices, the system is paired to a new device, this will replace
the one that was first associated.
- If the Pairing information with "Vimar Audio" has been removed from the Bluetooth technology
device.
IMPORTANT:
• "Vimar Audio" can be associated to more than one Bluetooth technology device but music can
be played from only one associated device at a time.

Inquiry function on.
"Vimar Audio" checks if there is a Bluetooth
technology device in the vicinity and if its ID is in
the list of stored Bluetooth technology devices.
This phase starts when the module is switched
on and ends after a timeout of 40 s if no remote
device is found.
Pairing Function on.
If the list of associated devices is empty, this phase
starts immediately after "Vimar Audio" is switched
on, otherwise it starts after the Inquiry phase. The
pairing phase has a timeout of 90 s.
"Vimar Audio" off
• The audio volume is controlled directly from the paired remote device or the LINE IN input
source. If "Vimar Audio" is installed in a system where the audio volume can be controlled from
different points (e.g. the Vimar speaker system), adjust the intermediate volume levels so that
the music can be played without distortion.
INSTALLATION RULES.
• Installation should be carried out by qualified staff in compliance with the current regulations regard-
ing the installation of electrical equipment in the country where the products are installed.
• Only for SELV/PELV environments or with SELV/PELV devices.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE.
RED Directive. Standards EN 60065, EN 301 489-17, EN 300 328, EN 62311, EN 55032, EN 55024.
Vimar SpA declares that the radio equipment complies with Directive 2014/53/EU. The full text of

modules.
• Tension nominale d'alimentation : 12 V
• Absorption

• Bornes :
- 2 pour l'alimentation 12 V
SELV
- 3 pour l'entrée LINE IN.
