►1.14. Before switching the fan on, make sure
the air flows in the right direction.
►1.15. Make sure the fan is only connected to
suitable mains fitted with a residual current
device (when powered by cable).
►1.16. Only power the fan with the current volt-
age and frequency values specified on the rat-
ing plate.
►1.17. Only use conforming extension cables
with suitable cross-section.
►1.18. Never move, handle or conduct mainte-
nance on the fan when it is connected to the
power mains or in operation.
►1.19. Never cover the fan with any kind of ma-
terial when it is connected to the power mains
or in operation.
►1.20. Disconnect the fan from the electric
power supply when not in use.
►1.21. Make sure the fan cannot be used if it is
temporarily left in unsafe conditions.
►1.22. If the power supply cable or any com-
ponent is damaged, it must be replaced by a

2. UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY
WARNING: THE PACKAGING MATERIAL IS NOT
A TOY. KEEP THE PLASTIC BAG OUT OF REACH
OF CHILDREN; DANGER OF SUFFOCATION.
►2.1. Remove all packaging material used to wrap
and ship the fan and dispose of it in compliance
with the standards in force.
►2.2. Remove all items from the packaging.
►2.3. Check for any damage incurred during trans-
port. If the fan looks damaged, immediately in-
form the dealer from where it was purchased.
IMPORTANT: Assemble the fan completely before
commissioning (FIG. 2).
3. OPERATION
IMPORTANT: READ, UNDERSTAND AND FOL-
LOW THE "SAFETY INFORMATION" BEFORE
STARTING THE FAN IN ORDER TO USE IT
CORRECTLY AND AVOID RISKS.
