ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Rubber Mallet, Phillips Head Screwdriver, 1/8" Drill Bit, Drill, Wood Glue.

1) Lay out the Arm Posts, Arm Spindles and Back Spindles in ascending order on the left and
descending on the right (F, G, H, I, J, J, I, H, G, F,). Spread glue evenly in the holes in the
Seat (EE). Working quickly before glue sets, insert the chucked end of the turnings, starting
with Arm Posts (F) in the front holes, Arm Spindles (G) in the second hole, Back Spindles
Short (H) in the next, etc. See Figure 1.

2) To attach the Back (KK), start by applying glue in each spindle hole. (Apply glue carefully,
as it may drip out before you have put the back in place.) Begin on one side, gently tapping
the back onto each spindle until you have worked your way around to the opposite side as
shown in FIGURE 2. Check to see that the back is all the way down on each spindle before
setting aside to dry.
