Please note that it is extremely important for connections to
have a degree of flexibility. This is to prevent any movement in
the installation leading to the formation of cracks.
For recommended chimney draught, see «2.0 Technical data» in
the Installation manual with technical data.

Basic model installation
The product is heavy – make sure it does not topple over while
you are installing it!
Ensure you have help when positioning and installing it.
1. The bottom plate/shelf plate (part 1 - open model, part 10 -
closed model) should be placed on the floor surface. Check it is
level using a spirit level and adjust as necessary using adhesive
or mortar. It is extremely important that the bottom plate/
shelf plate be steady and level.
2. Position the sides (part 7 - open, low)(part 2 - open, high), or
(part 8 and 9 - closed) on the bottom plate/shelf plate.
3. Remove the heat shields by unscrewing the two screws, M8x20
mm, on either side (fig. 5-1 A) of the burn chamber.
4. Lay the product carefully down on its back (fig. 8). You can put the
cardboard packaging on the floor to protect it from scratches, etc.
5. Open model: Adjust the length of the 3 legs by loosening the
bolt (see fig. 9). Pull the leg down to position «4» and fasten
the bolt firmly again.
Closed model: Adjust the legs by loosening the bolt (Fig. 10).
Pull the leg down to position "30" and fasten the bolt firmly
again. Adjust all legs in the same way as described above
(Fig. 11).
NB: If external air is supplied through a rear wall for closed
model: Adjust the rear leg to position "10" (Fig. 12). Fit the foot
(cat. no. 223136) as illustrated in Figures 13 and 14.
6. Screw the foot screws (fig. 11 A) into the legs.
7. Attach the heat shield (fig. 18-1A) to the underside of
the burn chamber using the accompanying screws and
sleeves (fig. 18-1B). See fig. 18-2 for the installed heat shield.
NB! If you use outside air connection: See the manufacturer's
instructions.
8. Stand the product up carefully.
9. Open model:
Position the burn chamber on the bearing element (part 3).
Closed model:
Position the burn chamber on the bottom plate (part 10).
10. Adjust the foot screws slightly to make the insert stand level.
The gap at the front beneath the insert must be approx. 3
mm. See fig. 17A. The front must be flush with the front of the
element.
11. Replace the rear heat shield (Fig. 5-2). Move the heat shield
extension up. Use the middle hole (Fig. 5-2 B).
12. If external air is supplied for closed model:
Push the hose with insulation sleeves through the foot (Fig.
15) and then install the distribution box (Fig. 16). Then fit
the external air connections according to manufacturer's
instructions.
13. Centre the burn chamber in relation to the bearing element
so that there is an equal distance on both sides (fig. 19).
14. Attach the side and rear panels (part 4) so that they are flush
with the surround, and then check that the burn chamber is
centred.
15. The smoke bell must be installed from inside the burn
chamber.
16. First screw in halfway and diagonally 2 screws with washers
(fig. 20 A). Install the accompanying gasket on the top side of
the edge of the smoke bell in the gasket channel (fig. 21 A).
17. Move the smoke bell up inside the burn chamber so the smoke
bell notch is against the screws with washers (fig. 22 A).
18. Turn the smoke bell slightly so that it is resting on the screws
with washers (fig. 23 A).
19. Then screw in the two other screws (fig. 24 A) and then screw
all the screws almost all the way in.
