VII. Important safety notices
Note: Only use in the open-air or in well-ventilated spaces.
(In well ventilated rooms, at least 25 % of the surrounding area must be open. The surrounding area is the total of all wall surfaces.)
1. This appliance must be connected in accordance with the applicable regulations.
2. The radiator is not to be set up in homes, cellars, offices or similar spaces.
3. The radiator is only to be used to provide heating.
4. The appliance should be placed on an even and solid surface.
5. Liquid gas cylinders should be protected from strong sunlight.
6. The area to be heated must have a volume of at least 20m3 per kW of the radiator's nominal heat load and be well ventilated
(covered terraces, beer tents etc.).
7. The heater must be kept at a safe distance from flammable materials and textiles during use.
The distance between the radiating surface and flammable materials in the radiating distance must be at least 2 m.
Other-wise, the distance to flammable materials must be at least 1m.
8. Check for the presence of and proper (undamaged) condition of the seals on the cylinder regulator (including each time the cylinder is
changed). Do not use any additional sealant.
9. The radiator is only to be operated via an additional pressure regulator with permitted outlet pressure (see appliance rating plate and
factory setting).
10. After assembly, all connection points should be checked for leaks. A foam-producing agent (Enders gas control spray, product no. 1196)
should be used to check this. Checking for leaks while alight is strictly forbidden!
11. Repair and maintenance of gas-technical parts of the appliance is only to be carried out by authorised special-ist personnel.
12. The regulator valve (2) of the gas cylinder should be closed immediately in the event of a malfunction.
13. The radiator must be turned off and the gas cylinder removed from the gas cylinder container before moving the heater to a new location.
14. Ensure that the gas hose does not become kinked.
15. The hose must be checked for tears and other damage every six months.
16. The gas hose is to be checked by a specialist every 5 years.
17. In the event of any damage to the hose, please replace with a new hose of the same quality and length.
18. Do not cover the ventilation openings of the installation point for the gas canister.
19. Do not move the appliance while it is in operation.
20. Only use types of gas and gas canister approved by the manufacturers
21. Pay particular attention that the appliance does not tip over if using in high winds.
22. The gas canister must always be located in the provided gas canister holder while the appliance is in use.
