Scope of Supply
The instrument BEHAcom LanTest 50 is a portable
cable tester and can be used to test cable continuity and cable assignments of
twisted pairs / 10Base-T (UTP/STP) and Thin Ethernet (BNC).
The cable test is characterised by the following features:
• Verification of wiring errors on LAN cables
• Usable for twisted pair and coax cables
• Detection of cable interruptions, short-circuits, and crossed pairs, split pairs
• Test of shielding
• Detection of cables
• Simple operation via one single push-button
• Green and red LEDs show a good/bad evaluation for each cable pair
• Indicates error codes for each cable pair
• Connection facility for RJ45 and BNC
