The UNISIO range is divided into RECESSED and SURFACE MOUNTED luminaires.
The RECESSED line, consists of ready-to-mount luminaires requiring just drilling of holes. The
holes required for the various versions are as follows: 100 mm dia., 130 mm dia. and 195 mm
dia., as shown on the product label
Sometimes the luminaires are subdivided into two categories, luminaires with bezel or trimless
versions.
RECESSED TRIMLESS LUMINAIRES
The lamp bezel provided (fig.1) can be used to install the luminaires in false ceilings 12.5 mm
thick

To mount (fig.2), bend the supporting springs slightly

To assemble/disassemble the bezel (fig.3), turn the spring clip upwards with the help of a screw-
driver or similar inserted between the spring and the pin
press on the spring with the fingers until it no longer clicks
After mounting the bezel, wire up (fig.4) (see general notes). IMPORTANT : To wire Class II
naires, use double insulated wires. Alternatively, protect the wires with the sheath provided and fix
it with cable collars
the connector in the socket. After wiring to the mains electricity supply, insert the luminaire into
the bezel, pressing lightly (fig.5). When you hear the characteristic "clack", the supporting spring
and bezel are fixed together.
THE SURFACE MOUNTED range is subdivided into pendants, track or surface mounted
luminaires
SURFACE MOUNTED LUMINAIRES AND PENDANTS
To fasten the base of the luminaire to the mounting surface follow the instructions given in the
figure (fig.6):
loosen the safety screws;
springs;
use the base as drilling template and fasten it with two suitable screws or expansion
plugs; connect to the mains (see General Notes)
luminaires requires the use of conductors with double insulation; alternatively the cable can be
protected with the sheath provided in the standard kit and fasten it with cable collars (see fig.4
). After the electrical connection, re-attach the body to the base

TRACK MOUNTED LUMINAIRES
The TRISIO track-mounted range consists of luminaires ready for mounting on the Reggiani 3-cir-
cuit electrified tracks (fig.9). For installation, follow the instructions given in fig.7. Loosen the

For fastening the luminaire to other types of electrified tracks (contact the Reggiani Engineering

To engage the adapter on the Reggiani electrified track (fig.9): observe the correct direction when

Turn the electricity off at the mains
