Step 2 – Install the Pan
13. When the studs are securely in place,
remove the unit from the box, remove the
ladder from the metal pan and set the
ladder aside.
14. Locate the foil-covered insulation sheet
which came with your unit and tape it to
the back of the metal pan.
15. Place the metal pan in the hole you have cut
in the wall. The red dot should be on the top
side of the metal pan. If you find resistance
on any side, check to see if you need to trim
the saw lines again. The metal pan should fit
snugly inside the hole you have prepared.
