25. Hold the webbing firmly and place the base of
the ladder in the bottom of the metal pan.
Gently rock the ladder into place while
ensuring that the webbing (both 2" and 1")
wraps tightly around the sides.
26. Once the ladder stack is seated in the metal
pan, firmly push it toward the back of the
metal pan.You have properly inserted the
ladder when the standoffs on the back side of
the rung are against the metal pan and the
straps are neatly folded on top.
27 . Check to ensure the ladder stack looks like
the one shown.You should be viewing the
bottom of the rungs at the top of the stack
(they go in upside down). The PULL strap
must be attached facing upwards as shown.
CAUTION: Installing the rung stack or the
PULL strap incorrectly may result in injury. If
the ladder is correctly installed it should stay
in position when the door is open.
28. Caulk may be applied to the edges of the
metal pan as shown.
