2 - Installing a fixed dish on a satellite
• Place the dish vertically (the graduations on the back indicate the elevation of
the antenna). Check the correct elevation depending on the place of residence
(see Table azimuths and elevations) and direct about south.
• Perform a slow scan (about 20 seconds) a quarter turn to the left (case in
which the satellite is in the east) and then a quarter turn to the right (if a satellite
is in the west) watching TV. In one position of rotation, the level indicator should
EN
be increased. If this is not the case, should increase or decrease 2 degrees ele-
vation of the antenna (it is possible that the attachment pole is not perpendicular
to the ground). Example: Barcelona: 39 ° elevation + / - 2 º
• Tilt the dish 2 degrees (about 2 cm in the top of the dish) up and restart the
same sweep.
• Proceed with steps and 2 degrees until the indicator increases and the image
appears. When the channel, tune the depth (vertical and horizontal) for maxi-
mum quality. Tighten all nuts, except that secure the LNB in its holder.
Setting the anti-polarization
Turn the LNB holder in the direction of clockwise a few degrees to further
increase the quality. If you decrease the signal, turn counterclockwise. Once the
best signal, tightening the caliper bolts LNB. Your installation is complete.
