2. BACKGROUND:
Installation conditions:
• Choose the best location for the device, making sure there are no obstacles for running the
ducts: pipes, cables, etc.
• Don't install the device inside a bathroom.
• Make sure the air intake is at least 3 meters from the hot-water heater smoke outlet if the
latter is below and 1 meter if it is on the side or above.
• Try to keep the ducting network as straight as possible.
• For the network, use rigid ducts.
• The air supply must be located in a central position with regard to the distribution of the
home and as high as possible.
• Avoid ducts over 10 m long.
• Makes sure the device is at least 150 mm away from any window.
