Lubrication
The axle bearings should be lubricated occasionally with a small amount of Märklin-
Oil (7149).
Changing Light Bulbs
Headlights:
- Turn the model over and lay it on a soft pad or towel.
- Loosen the two screws on the floor plate with the rail clearance device.
- Remove the floor plate.
- Carefully pull the lamp socket down.
- Change the light bulb.
- Put the model back together.
Interior Lighting and Route Sign:
- Remove the eight roof vents by pulling up.
- Loosen the screws under the roof vents (Figures 5/6).
- Lift the roof up to remove it.
- Take out the circuit board.
- Change the light bulb.
- Put the model back together.
