6.4.1.3 VERSIONS WITHOUT A LEVEL SENSOR
The automatic filling function can also be used with DATA-MATE units that are not equipped with a level sensor. You must use a flowmeter or filling
kit with a flowmeter connected to the special inputs of the DATA-MATE you are using. To use the automatic filling kit, you must prepare the electronic
control equipment.
1 - PRESSURE + SPEED
- Connect the flow meter to input A (Flowmeter1) or connect the filling kit's flowmeter to input B (AUX digital output);
- Enter the estimated quantity of litres in the tank;
- Press to enter the quantity of liquid you need to pour into the tank;
- DATA-MATE will calculate the TARGET value that will be reached after filling has been completed. It will never be possible to exceed the total tank
capacity previously set up;
- Select start and press
-The flowmeter will start measuring the quantity poured into the tank until the TARGET volume setting has been reached.
- Displayed data will keep flashing until the TARGET volume has been reached. The FILLING message will disappear and DATA-MATE will provide an
acoustic signal. You can now return to the WORK menu by pressing
Filling can be stopped or suspended at any moment by pressing
When DATA-MATE is standing by (FILLING not displayed), you can relocate the WORK menu by pressing
2 - PRESSURE + TWO FLOWMETERS
In this version of DATA-MATE, the two flowmeters are connected to inputs A and C. The flowmeter or automatic filling kit must be connected to input
B. To use the automatic filling kit, you must prepare the electronic control equipment.
ATTENTION: to use input B during filling, temporarily disconnect flowmeter 2 from input C and make sure that flowmeter 1, connected
to input A, is not measuring the flow rate during the filling operations. For the time necessary to complete the filling operations, set up
flowmeter 1 with the same pulse/litre setting of flowmeter B. At the end of the filling operations, resume the original pulse/litre setting
of flowmeter 1.
- Enter the estimated quantity of litres in the tank;
- Press to enter the quantity of liquid you need to pour into the tank;

Level correction compensates the different density between chemical solutions and the clean water used to calibrate the tank. The value entered is the density
of the solution. DATA-MATE displays the correct values immediately and compensates readouts on the basis of the points created during tank calibration.
