3M™ Dynamic Mixing System: USER INSTRUCTIONS
DESCRIPTION:
The 3M™ Dynamic Mixing System consists of a pneumatic dispenser, disposable mixing nozzles, and replaceable cartridges filled with dual-
component materials, such as premium filler and glaze.
Components of the 3M™ Dynamic Mixing System include:
• 3M™ Dynamic Mixing Gun - Pneumatic
• 3M™ Dynamic Mixing Nozzle
• 3M™ Dent Filling Compound
• 3M™ Dent Finishing Glaze

• The dispenser contains a unique rotating hexagonal drive socket located in the center of the cartridge mounting plate area.
• The cartridge containing the dual-component repair material houses the drive shaft which, in turn, rotates a disposable dynamic mixing nozzle
located at the outlet end of the cartridge.
• Drive shaft activation occurs when the dispenser trigger is depressed.
• Dispense rate is controlled by an air pressure regulator located at the end of the dispenser housing.
o Turning the regulator knob clockwise
adequate mixing of the dual-component material from occuring. Should irregularities in dispensed materials be noted, the dispense rate
should be reduced.
o Turning the regulator knob counter-clockwise
• These features enable the system to consistanty and accurately deliver a wide variety of two part materials – air-free, on-ratio, and with
minimal waste.
INSTALLING THE CARTRIDGE:
• Position large diameter cylinder in the up (11 o'clock) position.
• Place the mounting flange end of the cartridge against the mounting plate of the dispenser, making sure to align and insert the cartridge drive
rod with the dispenser drive socket, located in the center of the dispenser mounting plate.
• Press the cartridge back against the mounting plate (this should occur without resistance if drive rod is aligned properly) and twist until the
cartridge locks into place.

increases the dispense rate. Please note that increasing the dispense rate too far may prevent
decreases the dispense rate.
