DISPENSER STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
• The 3M™ Dynamic Mixing Gun - should be stored and cared for as any high-quality pneumatic tool:
o Keep clean and protect air inlet from foreign matter.
o Apply 2 drops of lubricating oil at the air inlet weekly to maintain proper motor function. Do not over apply oil as this may result in air-born
contamination.
o Use a clean, dry air supply, free of moisture and other contaminates to extend the life of the tool.
o Inspect the regulator, and mounting plate/drive socket areas for damage prior to each use.
CARTRIDGE STORAGE
• 3M™ Dynamic Mixing System cartridges may be stored in either an upright (outlet up) or inverted (outlet down) position.
• Use caution not to damage outlets or drive shaft during storage or installation.
• Store previously opened cartridges with the used nozzle in place in an approved area.
• Prevent exposure to flame, sparks, or high temperatures.
• Never attempt to refill the cartridge or reuse a nozzle with hardened material in it.
• Remember to remove the closure caps prior to use.
• Optimum storage temperatures 65°F – 80°F. Elevated storage temperatures will reduce product shelf life.
