5) When the coil is set horizontally on the shims, hold the hook by the handle and free it
from the hole in the coil using the crane.
Turning coils from the horizontal to the vertical position
1) Hold the hook by the handle and insert it into the hole of the coil using the crane.
2) Position it under the coil to be lifted (inside the central hole of the coil.
3) Next, lift the hook + coil assembly by moving the crane (see diagram opposite).
4) The hinged shoe of the hook provides gradual and even turning to finish off the
movements of the crane.
5) When the coil is vertical, hold the hook by the handle and free it from the hole in the coil
using the crane.
