Operating Instructions
CAUTION
1.
The first time you use the Inflator, remove the plastic tab on the Digital Tire Gauge that reads 'Remove Before
Use' by pulling tab. This will allow contact with the batteries that are already installed and will activate the
Digital Tire Gauge.
2.
It is not necessary to press the On / Reset button when the Digital Tire Gauge is inserted in the Inflator. The
On / Reset button is only needed to turn on the Digital Tire Gauge when it is removed from the body of the
Inflator and you want to check the air pressure on tires, etc. or changing the Digital Tire Gauge Pressure
Format.
3.
Insert the 12 Volt Power Cord into DC 12 Volt Power Outlet and this will automatically provide continuous 12
Volt current to your Inflator and Digital Tire Gauge.
Please Note: When you remove the Digital Tire Gauge from the Inflator or unplug the 12 Volt Power Cord
from the 12 Volt Power Outlet the Digital Tire Gauge will be running off the battery inside the Digital Tire
Gauge.
4.
Connect the Tire Valve Chuck to item you are inflating and push down the Valve Lock Lever to secure the
connection. The gauge will display the current pressure on the item you are inflating + or – 2 PSI.
5.
Press the ▲or ▼button on the Digital Tire Gauge to set the desired PSI. The Digital Tire Gauge preset range
is 3 PSI minimum to 120 PSI maximum.
6.
Push the Inflator On / Off power button located on the body of the Inflator just below the Digital Tire Gauge and
the Inflator will begin to operate. The Inflator will shut off automatically at the desired preset PSI level that you
have programmed into the Digital Tire Gauge.
Please Note: The Inflator has a tolerance of + or – 2 PSI and will automatically shut off accordingly.
7.
To inflate another item (s) follow steps 3 – 6 as stated above.
Please Note: Disconnecting Inflator from 12 Volt Power Outlet will clear the previous preset PSI level and you will have
to press the ▲or ▼buttons to reset PSI to desired level. If you remove the Digital Tire Gauge from the Inflator it will also
clear the previous PSI preset level. When you insert the Digital Tire Gauge back into the Inflator you will need to press
the ▲or ▼buttons to reset PSI to desired level.
CAUTION
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT PRESS THE ▲OR▼ BUTTONS PRIOR TO TURNING INFLATOR ON IT WILL RUN
INDEFINITELY UP TO 120 PSI. THE INFLATOR WILL NOT SHUT OFF AUTOMATICALLY WITHOUT MANUALLY
TURNING OFF THE INFLATOR. PLEASE OBSERVE THE PRESSURE READING AT ALL TIMES AND BE SURE TO
SHUT OFF INFLATOR IN A PROMPT AND TIMELY MANNER SO AS NOT TO OVERINFLATE THE ITEM YOU ARE
INFLATING!
To operate Removable Digital Tire Pressure Gauge and check air pressure in vehicle tires:
1.
Turn the Digital Gauge Lock Lever to the unlock position and lift the Digital Tire Pressure Gauge upward to remove
from the compressor.
2.
Press "Reset/On" button to turn the gauge on. Wait approximately 2 seconds for the gauge display to read 0.0.
3.
Press the Digital Tire Pressure Gauge firmly onto the tire stem/valve to measure the tire pressure.
4.
Press the "Reset/On" button to reset the gauge before next use.
5.
The gauge will automatically shut off after 15 seconds. To use again, repeat steps 2 and 3.
DO NOT OVERINFLATE ITEM BEING INFLATED.
