Running/Stopped
Indicates the status of the pump.
Low Battery (LOW BAT)
This is activated when the battery is
run down. After 15 minutes, this light
will flash, an audible alarm will sound
and the pump will stop. Whenever the
LOW BAT light is on, the pump should
be plugged into an AC outlet, and
normal feeding may continue. To avoid
degrading battery life it is important
not to run down the battery. The bat-
tery recharges anytime the pump is
connected to an AC outlet, regardless
of whether the pump is running.
Alarms/Indicators
Flow Error (FLO Err)
Under these conditions the pump stops, an alarm sounds and is displayed as
'FLO Err' . One of the following conditions may apply:
Possible Condition
1. Feeding container is empty
2. An occlusion has caused
delivery to stop
3. Drip chamber is overfilled
4. Drip chamber walls are
severely coated with formula
5. Sensors in drip chamber
bracket need cleaning
6. Drip chamber is improperly
placed
No Set (no SEt)
If the door is not closed and latched
securely, no set is loaded on the
pump, or a proper COMPAT
SelectFlo
®
set is not used, the alarm
message 'no SEt' will be displayed.
Correct by loading an appropriate
COMPAT SelectFlo delivery set,
close and latch the door, and press
START/STOP.
Corrective Action
1. Refill container or start new
administration set
2. Identify point of occlusion
3. Insert new administration set
4. Manipulate chamber to clear
drops in sensor path
5. Clean sensor with
isopropyl alcohol
6. Reposition drip chamber

If pump is left on hold and START/
