Limited Warranty

Nestlé HealthCare Nutrition war-
rants the COMPAT ® Enteral Feeding
Pump against defects in material
and workmanship under normal use
and service for a period of one (1)
year from date of delivery. This war-
ranty is valid only to the original
purchaser and does not extend to
any product or part thereof which
Caution
Always disconnect the pump from
the AC outlet before cleaning to
avoid electric shock hazard.
Using a cloth or sponge, clean the
pump housing and rotor regularly
with warm soapy water. (Prolonged
exposure to alcohol, household
detergents or strong cleansers can
result in damage to pump housing.)
Clean drip sensors with cotton
swabs and isopropyl alcohol.

abuse, alteration, misuse, or which
has not been operated and main-
tained in accordance with pre-
scribed instructions. This warranty
shall not apply if the product has
been repaired by anyone other than
an authorized service representative
of Nestlé HealthCare Nutrition.

Cleaning

Disinfecting
If it is necessary to disinfect the entire
pump, the following is recommended:
General Disinfectants
Cidex ®
pHisohex ®
Hibiclens ®
Isopropyl alcohol
AIDS and Hepatitis Disinfectants
10% concentration of 5.25% sodium
hypochlorite (household bleach)
Tuberculosis Disinfectants
70% concentration of
isopropyl alcohol
Nestlé HealthCare Nutrition reserves
the right to repair or replace (at its
option) any pump which fails to
meet the foregoing warranty.
This warranty is in lieu of all other
warranties expressed or implied
including, without limitation, war-
ranties of merchantability and of
fitness for a particular purpose.
After application of these disinfect-
ing agents, allow to air dry. It should
be noted that these recommenda-
tions should not be substituted for
official procedures that may differ
among institutions. To determine
the proper procedure in a particular
institution, contact the Infection
Control Department.
Do not autoclave. Do not immerse
pump in cleaning solutions.
Delivery sets are for single use only.
Do not clean and reuse.
