Basic Operation
CD Operation
Turning BBE Mode On/Off
The BBE (Barcus Berry Electronics) processor
installed in this unit is designed to correct the
phase distortion inherent in most loudspeaker
designs. Ensuring the phase integrity of the
signal driving the speakers improves the
accurate reproduction of the sound.
In the CD Shuttle mode or External input mode
(Head Unit)*, press the MODE button for at
least 3 seconds to turn on the unit.
Note: * For the operation of external input
mode (Head Unit), see below.
Press the MODE button for at least 3 seconds
to turn off the unit.
To listen to the Head Unit
To change the audio from the CD Shuttle to the
head unit, switching is necessary.
Press the POWER button to select the External
input mode (Head Unit).
Press the POWER button repeatedly until the
desired mode is displayed.
Caution
Adjust the volume of Head Unit carefully.
Excessive output into the CRA-1656SP will
cause distortion and possibly damage to
unit.
